Updated Life Updates!

So we are back here again! I have not written up life updates with our family in quite some time so here we go!

First off, Owen and I are expecting again with my due date being November 5th, 2024 on cringey Election Day! We discovered we will be having a boy and cannot wait to meet him. Overall, this pregnancy has been much much easier compared to my pregnancy with the beloved Eden. The fatigue is setting in as I recently reached my third trimester and I am praying the Lord spares me from the health complications I had last time beginning around 34 weeks. 

As far as things with miss Eden, she is doing quite well. Still loves her foods, especially apples, tomatoes, and blueberries! She is very obsessed with apples currently as we have lots of apple tree surrounding our property as well as two total on our property. It has been a joy seeing her learn and say new words. Her favorites are “apple”, “up”, and “all done”. We recently celebrated her first birthday with the family with a farm themed, homemade water slide extravaganza. It’s amazing how after a year she is so close to learning how to walk and is getting better at standing without any support! 

She also continues to love animals and loves making animal noises when we look at live animals or read books. Her favorite animal sounds are moo, a rooster crow, and a dog’s “woof”. 

It is amazing to just see her little personality blossom. At times she needs a lot of mamas attention which can be tricky but overall we are so beyond blessed to have her. The Lord certainly is gracious and merciful to give us a little girl who absolutely loves her sleep. 

Owen is discovering different ways to improve our garden, bonding with Eden in the most adorable ways, and finding remedies to lessen his Lyme symptoms. He is still on the job search and actively leading our Tuesday night Bible study as we go through the Psalms of Lament. My love for him grows more and more each day as I see his heart for Jesus poured out onto our little family. I can’t imagine what it would be like to take care of Eden while pregnant without his enduring personality.
